There’s no single price, because you’re upgrading your whole heating system — not just swapping the boiler for a heat pump — so it depends on the state of your current setup and what you want it to achieve. A heat pump system starts at around £10,000 installed, with the £7,500 government grant coming off that for eligible homes. For a figure based on your home, start with our instant estimate, with an exact price confirmed in your quote after a survey.

Yes — there are finance providers who may be able to help you spread the cost, depending on your circumstances and status. Ample is one of them, and we can talk you through our own offering to see what might suit you. It’s also worth checking with your bank or building society, as they may have other schemes to support with a home energy upgrade.

Yes. The grant is always taken off the cost of your system first, so any finance option you choose — or that’s available to you — only ever applies to the amount left after the grant. We apply for the grant on your behalf, so it’s deducted up front rather than something you claim back.

The Heat Pump Plan covers everything in one monthly payment: your heat pump, the full installation, annual servicing, repairs, and remote monitoring to keep it running at its best — all backed by a warranty for the length of your plan. We apply for your grant and manage the whole install too, so once it’s in, there’s nothing else to arrange. Plans run from 3 to 12 years, designed so your heating simply works. Terms and status apply.

Yes — about the same as the boiler it replaces. Just like any heating system, a heat pump needs one service a year. That annual check keeps it running at its best, helps prevent unexpected issues, and keeps performance high so your running costs stay as low as possible. On the Heat Pump Plan, the service is included and we book it in for you. If you’ve bought outright, you can arrange your own or we can handle it for you.
